We all enjoy the beauty and nostalgia of vehicles that have been restored to original or modified condition. We appreciate the blood, sweat and tears that are invested in re-creating these classic machines.   Some have come from junk yards, some sitting in a barn for years, while others may have had the same owner all along.  Regardless of the history, these cars need someone to take interest in them and commit the time and resources to bring about their full potential.

Much like an old car or truck, we also need restoration. From the day we were born, we have been separated from God by the “rust” and “deterioration” of sin, and nothing we do ourselves can fix that. Jesus Christ accomplished the “restoration” we need through his sacrifice on the cross. His blood, sweat, tears, and death was His investment for our restoration, if we accept it. It really is that simple. The results are eternal. Don’t wait another day in the junkyard of life. Let Jesus bring about restoration in your life.
